For Childcare Operators
1How do I submit my weekly meal numbers?
It's simple: we send you a weekly Excel sheet. You fill it in and send it back. We'll confirm your submission deadline during onboarding. If nothing changes week to week, just let us know and we'll carry forward your previous numbers.
2What if my numbers change last minute?
Reach out as early as you can and we'll do our best to accommodate. We'll walk you through cutoff times during onboarding so there are no surprises.
3How do you handle allergies and dietary needs?
Our entire facility is nut-free. No peanuts, no tree nuts, ever. For other allergies and dietary requirements, we use an allergy contract and waiver during onboarding. Every child's needs are documented and each meal is packaged separately before the first delivery arrives.
4Do you serve multiple locations?
Yes, we work with multi-location operators regularly. We'll set a delivery schedule for all your sites and give you one point of contact for everything.
5What does pricing look like?
$5.50 + applicable tax per child, per day. Lunch and snack included. No hidden fees. We'll put together a custom quote for multi-location operators on our first call.
6Can I cancel or modify an order?
Childcare operators must cancel or modify orders at least 5 business days in advance. We'll confirm the exact process during onboarding.
7What's included in the temperature log?
Every delivery includes a temperature log confirming food was transported and delivered at safe temperatures. No extra steps needed from your team.
8Is your facility approved by a health authority?
Yes. Our kitchen is Fraser Health certified and subject to routine inspections by the Environmental Health Authority. We handle all compliance documentation for you.
9What time does my delivery arrive?
Our delivery route departs the kitchen at 9:00am daily. Depending on your location, meals arrive between 9:15am and 10:55am, well before the standard 11:30am lunch service.
10Can we try a meal before committing?
Yes, and we encourage it. We offer a free trial meal day at your facility before you sign anything. Call 604-332-6111 to schedule.
11What is the minimum commitment?
New clients start with a 4-month initial term. After that it is month-to-month with 30 days written notice to cancel.
12Do you have a referral program?
Yes, it's a tiered program. Referrals 1–4 earn $500 each. Referrals 5–9 earn $750 each (Star Sales Rep). Your 10th referral earns a trip to Cancun for two (up to $6,000 value). Referrals 11+ earn $1,000 each. No cap. Open to any staff member or parent at a Nutra Meals client facility.
For Schools & Parents
1How does the school program work?
Parents create an account on our secure portal, select meal days from the monthly menu, and complete checkout online. Individually labelled meals are delivered to your school on the selected days. Your office doesn't manage any of it.
2What age group do you serve?
We serve children from 10 months to Grade 7. Our childcare program serves infants from 10 months to 5 years old. Our elementary school hot lunch program serves Kindergarten through Grade 7.
3What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit card payments through our secure online portal, cheque, Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD / EFT), and e-transfer.
4Can I cancel or modify a school order?
School parents can cancel or modify orders within 5 business days of the meal date.
5Do you have a referral program?
Yes. Refer a family and you'll receive 2 free meals as a thank-you. We also donate 2 meals to a family in need on your behalf. See our Referral Program document for the full operator referral program (up to $1,000+ per referral).
